Tony Gunn from MTDCNC talks to Mike Ciarelli, a creative math teacher at Pine Bush High School, to learn more about his incredible style of teaching and how it helps students who are struggling to see the real-world application of subjects like math and geometry. By changing the way we learn and transition from 2D to 3D to hands on work, students are able to better understand design specifications and the connection of scientific subjects to real-world examples. While some kids learn well through traditional methods, 3D printing helps many students realize design applications much better. Mike shares his experience as a teacher at Pine Bush High School and how his way of teaching has shown improved performance and success for many students.
