Tom is at Dugard, examining one of the smallest Hanwha sliding head models, the XD10. This compact, fast sliding head lathe is capable of machining both low and high-volume parts, thanks to its quick setup capabilities. What’s particularly interesting about this machine is the control element; it features software that allows for remote monitoring and program adjustments. This means the machines can truly run unmanned for long periods while still being effectively monitored.”
