Dave from DWS Engineering has been making components on his Fixed Head lathes for years, manufacturing Pre-War nuts and bolts for historic vehicles.
But he decided to dip his toe in the water and invest in a Citizen Cincom Sliding Head Lathe.
As it was his first foray in to Sliding head machining he wanted to make sure he was comfortable with the technology so he bought a second hand machine. The installation, service and support have been fantastic; he loves the machine.
Things that he highlighted were;
