Andy, from Apex Machining Services told us how, with the support of Citizen Machinery, he made his first step in to Sliding Head work.
Apex have an extensive machine shop, comprising Milling and Fixed Head machines, so when he considered purchasing a Sliding Head machine he needed to know that the after sales support would enable him to utilise the machine to its full capacity.
Andy tells us all about this and what the machine is capable of doing.
On the back of this he has made massive cycle time reductions in existing work and also won new work from overseas.
