
The 12th Biennial TAGMA Die & Mould India International Exhibition was kicked off on 27th April 2022. The main goal of this year’s event was to provide an ideal opportunity to bring the latest technologies and products for the fast-evolving die & mould industry under one roof. The event was held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
Some of the prominent personalities that graced this event include the Chief Guest Prabhakar Kadapa, Partner & Director, Mudita Strat-Aegis Consultants Pvt Ltd; DM Sheregar, President, TAGMA India; D Shanmugasundaram, Vice President, TAGMA India, and the Guests of Honour Vidyadhar Limaye, Senior Director, IAC Group; Raghava Badhya TV, President & Director, Makino India Pvt Ltd.
As usual, the various dignitaries kick-started the event with the traditional lighting of the inaugural lamp.
Sheregar was among the dignitaries that delivered a speech at this event. In his speech, he highlighted how the last two years have been challenging for everyone in the industry. He was however delighted that the industry has come out stronger and is ready to take advantage of the growing demand for tools in the country and the rest of the world.
The main objective of this four-day event was to highlight the different technological developments for thriving in the die and mould industry. Other topics discussed included opportunities and challenges in the industry and how to provide a platform for toolmakers to learn from the user industry.
The different dignitaries, including Limaye, Badhya, Kadapa, and Shanmugasundaram delivered their speeches to the attendees of the event. They all highlighted the potential of this industry and its significance to the rest of the industries. After these speeches, all the guests went to the exhibition grounds for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This year’s edition of the Die & Mould India exhibition featured over 300 exhibitors from 30 countries. They all presented ideas related to the various technological advancements in the tooling industry. The exhibition area of the event was about 19,200 sq mt to host the over 40,000 visitors that were expected at this event.
