Pavna Industries Ltd, a leading name in the auto-components sector, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the Future Mobility Park in Shoolagiri, Krishnagiri District. This development marks a strategic step in reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s status as one of India’s foremost hubs for advanced automotive and mobility solutions.

The proposed facility will significantly strengthen Pavna Industries’ production footprint, enhancing its capabilities across a broad spectrum of segments including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. By combining cutting-edge technology with the state’s skilled workforce, the plant is expected to play a transformative role in boosting regional employment, nurturing local talent, and advancing Tamil Nadu’s ambition of becoming a global leader in the mobility sector.

Under the terms of the MoU, the Government of Tamil Nadu will extend comprehensive support to ensure smooth project execution. This includes facilitation of necessary approvals, infrastructure support, and timely clearances, reflecting the state’s proactive approach to attracting investments in future mobility and advanced manufacturing. The move aligns with the government’s vision of making Tamil Nadu a preferred destination for both domestic and global automotive players seeking sustainable growth opportunities.

For Pavna Industries, this project represents not only an expansion of manufacturing capacity but also a deeper alignment with national initiatives such as Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. The new plant will enable the company to integrate advanced manufacturing practices, increase localisation, and reduce dependency on imports, thereby reinforcing India’s self-reliance in the automotive supply chain.

Swapnil Jain, Managing Director of Pavna Industries Ltd, emphasized the broader vision behind this collaboration. “We are proud to partner with the Government of Tamil Nadu for this project, which will generate employment, create new opportunities for local talent, and support the state’s thriving automotive ecosystem. This initiative is closely aligned with the Make in India vision and underscores Pavna Industries’ dedication to nation-building through world-class manufacturing. We value the support extended by the Government of Tamil Nadu in enabling this expansion,” he said.

The Shoolagiri facility will also serve as a hub for innovation, with the potential to foster collaboration between local suppliers, startups, and technology providers. By focusing on sustainable and efficient manufacturing practices, Pavna Industries aims to meet the rising global demand for cleaner, smarter, and more reliable mobility solutions. This includes integrating automation, precision engineering, and energy-efficient processes into its production systems.

Beyond immediate economic benefits, the investment is expected to create a long-term multiplier effect on the regional economy by supporting ancillary industries, promoting technology transfers, and enhancing skill development in the local workforce. Tamil Nadu, already home to several global automotive majors, is poised to further consolidate its leadership position with initiatives like the Future Mobility Park serving as catalysts.

As Pavna Industries embarks on this new chapter, the collaboration stands as a testament to the power of public-private partnerships in driving industrial growth. By marrying world-class technology with local expertise, the company is positioning both itself and Tamil Nadu as pivotal players in the global mobility ecosystem of the future.
