Lantek to analyze data’s journey in the metal cutting industry at Blechexpo 2019
Lantek, a multinational company focused on the development and sale of CAD/CAM/MES/ERP software and pioneer in the digital transformation of companies in the metalworking industry, will be participating in the Blechexpo 2019 trade show, which will take place from November 5 to November 8 in Stuttgart, with a presentation on the value of data in the sheet metal cutting industry.
With a presentation titled “Data’s Journey in the Sheet Metal Industry,” Javier Román, Product Manager at Lantek, will explore the importance of data in this industry, analyzing the different data sources, ways to process data, and how data can be used in decision-making and industrial automation processes.
“The importance of measuring the quality of the data, their validity, consistency, representativeness, uniqueness, and complexity, with a specific Data Quality Report is fundamental in data governance and essential for companies that want to digitally transform and optimize processes based on data intelligence. The human factor also plays a fundamental role when guaranteeing data quality. In fact, a new figure is emerging: the Chief Data Officer (CDO), who is responsible for all things related to this kind of data,” explained Javier Román, Product Manager at Lantek.
The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 6 at 2:20 p.m. in the trade fair’s Exhibitor Forum, Hall 9, stand 9310.
Blechexpo 2019 is the biennial international trade fair dedicated to technology for the treatment and processing of sheet metal.
