The state-of-the-art coating and geometry of the new quality of Seco Tools TTP2050 threaded insert offers efficient, safe and stable performance, together with the effective chip control necessary to prevent chips generated during threading from damaging critical parts in The final stages of production.
The TTP2050 quality nanolaminated PVD type coating, manufactured by alternating layers of titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN) and titanium silicon nitride (TiSiN), offers the extreme wear resistance necessary for machining of foundries, tool steels , stainless steel and other difficult steels. These chemical characteristics exceed the capabilities of commonly used coatings that are normally used in threading operations, while geometry offers reliable performance to increase productivity in these materials.
TTP2050 threading quality is available in 44 profiles with -A geometry, in sizes of 11 mm and 16 mm (0.433 “and 0.650”). The new quality is available for internal and external threading in all standard / common thread profiles.
