Having had great support from the guys at Lead Precision Machine Tools it seemed like the obvious choice to get another Leadwell machine. This time Konrad opted for the V-42AF, a powerful rigid 3 axis mill. Boasting 12,000 rpm through the Big Plus spindle it has a whopping 18.5kw of power! In Konrads words, ‘it cuts like a knife through butter!’. Konrad is always on the lookout for more work, from ‘one offs’ to small batch runs. He is able to program offline then machine accurate parts in any material.
