Today at MTDCNC’s technical corner, Giovanni Albanese talks to Steve from LK Metrology to review the multi-sensor technology on the SCANTEK 5. Steve Shickell provides insight on this fantastic Ultrasonic technology from Renishaw that complements LK Metrology’s innovative products. The Ultrasonic probe is clean, simple, and effective for taking quick measurements up to 10 microns. It can measure 20mm of thickness from a distance. The technology is highly useful for aerospace applications and components. Steve and Gio also talk about the SCANTEK 5, which is a flexible and modular CMM capable of surface finishing. It works with a variety of applications and provides a complete end-to-end automating solution. In the video, you’ll hear more about Renishaw’s Revo 5 probing technology that’s been around for nearly a decade. With 4000 points per second contact, the Revo is all about speed. Renishaw’s Ultrasonic sensor technology and LK Metrology’s SCANTEK 5 have been designed to complement the Revo. Both companies are strategic partners who collaborate to provide innovative solutions for high precision metrology. Renishaw are the market leaders in probing tech, and LK Metrology specializes in ceramic bridge technology on CMMs. If you’re interested in multi-sensor technology, connect with LK Metrology through their website to book an onsite demonstration. Watch the video to find out how this technology can help save time and money for your business!
