Kurt Hatwell takes us through the Mapal way of offering bespoke tooling giving a full solution to their customers needs. Kurt also explains what 'cost per part' actually means giving their customers complete transparency of each part against the tooling that they want to use. We also discuss the tool managing process with Mapal's UNIBASE system and what benefits it offers to their customers. Finally we grab Richard Paynter who heads up the Design team in Rugby and he walks us through the design process for special tooling.
